TULKAREM, June 4, 2007, (WAFA)- Israeli Occupation Forces(IOF) arrested Monday morning five citizens and assaulted another in the West Bank cities of Tulkarem, Hebron and Jenin.

In Tulkarem, Israeli soldiers arrested three citizens in the city town of Zeita after storming their houses, witnesses said.

They added that massive Israeli troops broke into the town and conducted a wide search campaign, arresting three citizens.

In Hebron, Israeli soldiers assaulted a girl near al-Ibrahimi holy mosque and arrested another in the city, security sources said.

They added that the Israeli soldiers attacked a girl, a Jerusalemite, Nada al-Arouni while she was near the Ibrahimi mosque. Another citizen from the city Hatem Abu Turky 23, was arrested.

In Jenin, Israeli soldiers arrested a citizen in Qabatya town at an Israeli military checkpoint, security sources said.

They affirmed that the Israeli soldiers arrested Faisal Saba'na 50, at a sudden Israeli military checkpoint near the city. He was led into an unknown place.
