GAZA, May 30, 2007, (WAFA)- President Mahmoud Abbas received Wednesday PM, Ismail Haniyya, in the Presidential Office in Gaza.

Spokesperson of Presidency, Nabil Abu Rdina, told WAFA that President Abbas and PM discussed the internal Palestinian situation in the light of the Israeli escalation.

They also discussed the exerted efforts for achieving mutual truce with Israel.

Abu Rdina added that the meeting tackled the methods of reinforcing the national unity and ending the internal clashes in order to face the Israeli aggression and to work on the resumption of the peace process for achieving peace and establishing the Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
