France Expresses Concern over causalities Rising
PARIS, May 28, 2007, (WAFA) - French Foreign Ministry expressed concern over the rising number of casualties in the Palestinian territories and called on both sides (Palestinian and Israelis) to "immediately renounce violence, respect the cease-fire and resume dialogue."
In a statement issued Monday, the Ministry noted that in the past days 40 Palestinians, including a number of citizens, urging Israel to refrain from the massive attacks against citizen areas in Gaza where these attacks are causing large numbers of citizen casualties and huge damage.
It also called on Israel to respect international humanitarian law and with concern to spare human life.
