Occupation forces injure man with a gas canister in Hebron

HEBRON, Sunday, July 5, 2020 (WAFA) – A Palestinian young man was injured in the face today by Israeli occupation forces, during clashes in the Old City quarter in Hebron, south of the occupied West Bank, according to WAFA correspondent.

Israeli occupation forces stationed at flashpoint Shuhada Street, in the downtown of Hebron, fired rubber-coated rounds and stun grenades at Palestinian protesters, injuring one of them by a gas canister in the face.

Over the past couple of days, Palestinians have been engaged in widespread protests against Israel‘s planned annexation of portions of the West Bank, which took place at many points of friction with Israeli occupation forces across the occupied West Bank, including in the Old City of Hebron.
