JERUSALEM, April 1, 2026 (WAFA) – Intense confrontations erupted Wednesday afternoon between Palestinians and the Israeli army at the Qalandiya military checkpoint north of occupied Jerusalem.
Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli soldiers fired rubber-coated bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas at Palestinian youths who had set tires ablaze in protest against the Israeli Knesset’s decision to execute Palestinian prisoners.
However, no injuries were reported.
