GAZA, April 1, 2026 (WAFA) – Three civilians were injured, including a child who sustained critical injuries, by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire in several areas across the Gaza Strip.
A child sustained serious injuries after Israeli forces opened heavy machine gunfire and artillery toward the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, south of the Strip.
Two other citizens were also injured by Israeli forces’ live fire; one near Ali bin Abi Talib Mosque in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, and another east of the Nuseirat camp in the central Strip.
Israeli artillery also shelled several areas east of Khan Yunis, the eastern parts of Gaza City, particularly the Zeitoun neighborhood, and east of Jabalia al-Balad in the north of the Strip, amid heavy gunfire.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces carried out large-scale blasting operations on citizens’ homes east of Khan Yunis.
