GAZA, April 2, 2026 (WAFA) – Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced today that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Strip has risen to 72,289 while 172,043 others were wounded since the start of the offensive on October 7, 2023.
The sources explained that Gaza Strip hospitals received three wounded individuals in the past 24 hours.
They indicated that the total number of slain Palestinians since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 713, and the total number of wounded to 1,943, while 756 bodies have been recovered.
The same sources explained that a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and rescue teams have been unable to reach them at this time.
