RAMALLAH, Sunday, May 31, 2020 (WAFA) – A rise in temperature is expected today, which approaches about 2°C above annual average, with partially cloudy to clear skies, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate and occasionally active. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 14°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 25°C and a low of 13°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 34°C and a low of 20°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 17°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Another rise in temperature is expected for Monday and Tuesday, to become above the annual mean by 5°C. Therefore, hot weather conditions are expected on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, temperature is expected to significantly drop setting back to 3°C below annual average.
