RAMALLAH, Tuesday, May 26, 2020 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas cabled Jordanian King Abdullah II Bin Al-Hussein, congratulating him on the occasion of the Kingdom‘s Independence Day.
President Abbas expressed his admiration for the Kingdom’s important achievements during King Abdullah’s reign, wishing Jordan and its people more progress and prosperity.
He praised Jordan’s unwavering positions in support of the nations’ issues, including the Palestinian cause and the just struggle of the Palestinian people to restore their rights and achieve the independence of their State of Palestine, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
