RAMALLAH, Thursday, April 2, 2020 (WAFA) – The Magistrate Court in the southern West Bank city of Halhoul today sentenced three Palestinians to one year in prison each for violating the state of emergency measures the Palestinian Authority has adopted early last month to fight the spread of coronavirus outbreak.
They were also charged with obstructing law enforcement works and public order during the state of emergency.
This is the first time people have been sentenced for violation of the state of emergency declaration.
