RAMALLAH, Saturday, 21 March 2020 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas cabled his Tunisian counterpart, Kais Saied, congratulating him on Tunisia’s Independence Day.
President Abbas expressed pride in the brotherly historical relations that ties the two countries and peoples, affirming his keenness to promote and strengthen joint cooperation in the best interest of both countries.
He praised Tunisia’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people in their struggle to achieve their legitimate rights, including ending the Israeli occupation of their lands and holy sites and in their quest for freedom and independence of the state of Palestine with Jerusalem as its capital.
