Israeli forces, fighter jets kill three Palestinians in Gaza

 

GAZA, Friday, May 3, 2o19 (WAFA) – Three Palestinians were killed today evening and dozens of others injured in an Israeli aerial bombing of a location in the central Gaza Strip, as well as by Israeli forces‘ gunfire targeting nonviolent protesters in the weekly Great March of Return protests at the east border of the Gaza Strip, according to the Ministry of Health.

Abdullah Ibrahim Abu-Melaweh, 33, and Alaa Ali Bouli, 29, were killed in an Israeli airstrike which targeted a location in Maghazi refugee camp in the central Strip. Others were injured in the airstrike.

Meanwhile, 19-year-old Raed Khalil Teir, 19, was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces while taking part in the Great March of Return at Gaza border.

Several other protesters, including children, a journalist and three medics were also injured by Israeli forces during the weekly protests at the border.

Earlier on the day, an Israeli drone and Israeli artillery bombed an empty land near Awda refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, causing significant damage to the site bombed, but with no reports of casualties.

More than 245 Palestinians have been killed and over 23,000 others injured by Israeli forces since the outbreak of the Great March of Return protests at Gaza border on March 30, 2018.
