JERUSALEM, June 16, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday evening stormed and searched Palestinian residents’ homes in the town of As-Sawahira ash-Sharqiya, east of occupied Jerusalem, ransacking their contents, assaulting residents, and confiscating their mobile phones, said local sources.
Sources told WAFA that Israeli forces stormed several homes in the town and carried out extensive searches inside, during which property was damaged and contents were destroyed.
The occupation forces assaulted residents during the raid and confiscated their mobile phones before withdrawing from the area.
