RAMALLAH, Thursday, October 03, 2019 (WAFA) - The overall Industrial Production Index (IPI) in Palestine reached 102.64 during August with a decrease of 4.61% compared to July, today said the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).

IPI for August decreased due to the decrease in the activities of Mining and Quarrying by 10.58%, which had a share of 2.68% of the total industry, the activities of Electricity, Gas, Steam and Air Conditioning Supply by 8.49%, which had a share of 11.95% of the total industry, the activities of Water Supply, Sewerage, Waste Management and Remediation by 8.33%, which had a share of 2.39% of the total industry, and the activities of Manufacturing Industry by 3.75%, which had a share of 82.98% of the total industry.
