RAMALLAH, Wednesday, October 02, 2019 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas today congratulated the Italian Premier Giuseppe Conte on his recent reappointment and formation of a new government.
In a telegram to Conte, Abbas reaffirmed his keenness to strengthen Palestine’s friendly and cooperative relations with Italy, further coordination and take bilateral relations to new heights for the common good of the two countries and peoples.
He expressed his appreciation to Italy for its positions in support of the Palestinian people’s rights and Palestinian leadership’s genuine efforts towards just peace to which the people of the region aspire.
