RAMALLAH, Thursday, September 26, 2019 (WAFA) – The Israeli authorities today placed a Palestinian woman in administrative detention without charge or trial for 5 months, said Detainees and Ex- Detainees Commission.

It said Heba Labadi, 24, a Jordanian citizen, was arrested on September 4 at al-Karama/King Hussein/Allenby crossing with the West Bank when she was on her way to attend a wedding of a relative in Yabad town in the north of the West Bank.

Labadi was taken to the Russian Compound prison in West Jerusalem where she was held until she was slammed with an administrative detention order for 5 months.

She was also denied  visits by family members and lawyers.

Jordanians have called on their government to intervene and force Israel to free Labadi.
