RAMALLAH, Thursday, September 26, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather today is mostly clear, pleasant in mountainous districts and hot in the Jordan Valley in daytime with a slight rise in temperature which becomes a bit above the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Relatively cold conditions are expected in mountainous districts, and pleasant conditions in other districts in nighttime. Wind is northwesterly, light to moderate and active at times. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 18°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 28°C and a low of 17°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 39°C and a low of 25°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 23°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Friday’s temperature is set to slightly rise and approach 2°C above the seasonal average with relatively hot to hot conditions in daytime and pleasant conditions in nighttime, especially in mountainous districts.

Saturday’s temperature is set to drop by 2°C with partially cloudy to clear and relatively hot, especially around midday hours, and pleasant to slightly cold conditions in nighttime.

No significant change is expected in the weather conditions on Sunday.
