RAMALLAH, Tuesday, August 20, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather today is mostly seasonal with relatively warm to warm conditions in daytime and pleasant to relatively warm conditions in nighttime, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Temperature is set to remain steady. Wind is southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate and active at times. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 19°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 27°C and a low of 18°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 39°C and a low of 26°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 24°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

No significant change is expected in the weather on Wednesday.

Thursday’s temperature is set to rise and approach 2 to 3°C above the seasonal average, paving the way to mainly warm conditions in most districts and very warm conditions in the Jordan Valley in daytime.

Fair conditions are expected in mountainous districts and relatively hot conditions in other districts in nighttime.

PMD expects an additional slight rise in temperature on Friday, paving the way to hot to very hot conditions in daytime and relatively hot conditions in nighttime.
