RAMALLAH, Thursday, August 15, 2019 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas met with Canadian ambassador Douglas Scott Proudfoot, at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah on the occasion of the end of Proudfoot’s official duties as representative of Canada to the Palestinian Authority (PA).
President Abbas praised the efforts of Proudfoot to strengthen bilateral relations between Palestine and Canada, stressing the keenness of the Palestinian side to promote these relations for the benefit of both countries.
