RAMALLAH, Thursday, August 08, 2019 (WAFA) - The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine during July increased by 0.18% compared with June, today said the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).
The increase was by 0.32% in the West Bank and by 0.16% in Jerusalem, while it decreased by 0.38% in Gaza Strip, it said.
The Palestinian CPI during July increased by 1.53% compared with July 2018, an increase by 1.88% in Jerusalem, by 1.33% in the West Bank, and by 0.18% in Gaza Strip.
The changes in Palestinian CPI for July 2019 are traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared with previous month:
