RAMALLAH, Tuesday, August 06, 2019 (WAFA) – Temperature today is set to slightly drop and approach 2°C above the seasonal average, paving the way to a slight relief in the heat stress, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Warm to very warm conditions are expected in daytime and mild to relatively warm conditions in nighttime. Wind is southwesterly to northwesterly and light to moderate with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 20°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 30°C and a low of 19°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 41°C and a low of 26°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 25°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Wednesday’s temperature is set to remain steady with warm to very warm conditions in daytime and mild to relatively warm conditions in nighttime.

No significant change is expected in the weather on Thursday and Friday.
