Israeli forces destroy water pipeline in West Bank village

NABLUS, Thursday, May 2, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli forces destroyed today a water pipeline that supplies the village of Forush Beit Dajan, east of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, with fresh water.

Local witnesses told WAFA that Israeli forces destroyed the water network on which the villagers basically rely for their water supply. The network starts at a nearby water stream known as Ein Shibli and artesian wells until it reaches the village’s land.

Forush Beit Dajan suffers from extreme shortage of water, especially in the summer, due to Israeli measures that prevent the village from getting different sources for its water supply.
