RAMALLAH, Tuesday, April 16, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather on Tuesday is partially cloudy and slightly cold in daytime and cold in nighttime with a drop of temperature which approaches 4°C below the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

A chance of sporadic light rains is expected on some districts. Wind is northwesterly to westerly and moderate to active in daytime, and becomes southwesterly to northwesterly in nighttime. Sea waves are medium.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 17°C and a low of 9°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 16°C and a low of 8°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 24°C and a low of 16°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 14°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

PMD expects Wednesday’s temperature to remain steady with partially cloudy and slightly cold conditions in daytime and cold conditions in nighttime. A chance of scattered light rains is expected one some districts, particularly the northern.

Thursday’s temperature is expected to remain steady with partially cloudy and relatively cold to cold conditions in most districts, except for the Jordan Valley where pleasant conditions are expected. Periods of light rains are expected on some districts, especially the northern.

PMD expects Friday’s temperature to remain steady with partially cloudy and relatively cold conditions in daytime and cold conditions in nighttime. A chance of sporadic light rains is expected on some districts, particularly the northern.

PMD warns people against slippery roads and low visibility.
