BETHLEHEM, August 2, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists established a new outpost on Saturday near the village of Kisan in the southern West Bank province of Bethlehem, according to local sources.
Ahmad Ghazal, secretary of the Fatah movement in Kisan, told WAFA that colonists set up several tents at the same location where more than 15 Palestinian families were forcibly displaced two weeks ago. During that incident, colonists seized aluminum sheets used as roofing, confiscated solar panels, and burned the remaining belongings of the displaced families.
Ghazal noted that this marks the eighth outpost established in the Kisan area over the past two months, reflecting a sharp increase in Israeli colonization and land seizure efforts. He pointed to the absence of effective international monitoring or accountability mechanisms.
Kisan and its surrounding areas continue to face repeated attacks by Israeli colonists. The spread of outposts has created a tightening ring around the village, restricting the movement of residents and threatening their livelihoods and security.
