RAMALLAH, Tuesday, March 26, 2019 (WAFA) - The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for residential buildings in the West Bank remained stable during February compared with January, the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said today.
At the level of major groups, the prices of raw materials slightly decreased by 0.03%, while
CCI for non-residential buildings slightly decreased by 0.05% in the West Bank during February compared with January with the prices of raw materials decreasing by 0.11%, while rental of equipment increased by 0.53%. At the same time, labor wages remained stable.
CCI for skeleton buildings also decreased by 0.24% in the West Bank with the prices of raw materials decreasing by 0.41%, while rental of equipment increased by 0.47%. Labor wages remained stable.
The overall Road Cost Index (RCI) slightly decreased by 0.09% as operating costs of equipment and maintenance decreased by 0.31%, the prices of raw materials decreased by 0.12%, as well as, rental of equipment slightly decreased by 0.04%. Labor wages remained stable.
The overall Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) decreased by 0.39%; Water Reservoirs Cost Index decreased by 0.49%, and Water Networks Cost Index decreased by 0.34% during February compared with the previous month, while the overall Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) slightly increased by 0.06%.
