RAMALLAH, May 19, 2025 (WAFA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Monday urged all states and relevant international bodies to take immediate action to halt the ongoing crimes of genocide and forced displacement being perpetrated against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. It also condemned the continued incursions and violations carried out by Israeli occupation forces and colonists across the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem.

The Ministry drew attention to the alarming situation in several areas under intensified assault, particularly Jenin, Tulkarem, and the towns of Kafr ad-Dik and Bruqin, west of Salfit, which have been enduring a large-scale offensive by Israeli forces and colonial militias for the fifth consecutive day.

It further emphasized that the international community’s response remains gravely inadequate given the scale and severity of these crimes, and falls short of its legal and moral obligations to uphold and enforce international law in the occupied Palestinian territory.
