RAMALLAH, Monday, March 25, 2019 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas sent his condolences to president of the People‘s Republic of China (PRC), Xi Jinping, for the victims of a pesticide plant blast at the Chenjiagang Industrial Park in Yancheng city, Jiangsu province on China’s east coast, which left dozens dead and others injured.

President Abbas expressed his heartfelt sorrow for China and its friendly people, and the families of the victims wishing the wounded a speedy recovery, and progress and prosperity to China and its people.

According to Reuters, The death toll from the massive explosion last week rose to 78 on Monday, with 13 people listed as being critically injured.
