RAMALLAH, Monday, March 25, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather on Monday is cloudy and cold to very cold with a significant drop of temperature, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Scattered rain showers, along with occasional thunderstorms and hail, are expected on most districts in daytime. Wind is northwesterly to southwesterly, moderate to active, with occasional gusts. Sea waves are high.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 11°C and a low of 5°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 10°C and a low of 4°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 12°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 17°C and a low of 19°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Tuesday’s temperature is set to rise with partially cloudy and cold to very cold conditions. A slight chance of scattered light rains is expected on some districts.

Wednesday’s temperature is set to further slightly rise with partially cloudy and cold conditions, particularly in mountainous districts. Scattered rains along with occasional thunderstorms are expected on some districts, particularly the northern.

Thursday’s weather is partially cloudy and slightly cold in daytime and cold in nighttime with a significant rise of temperature. Scattered rain showers are expected to fall on most districts.

PMD warns people against floods in low areas and valleys, gusty winds, low visibility due to fog formation and slippery roads.
