RAMALLAH, Sunday, March 24, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather today is partially cloudy to cloudy with a drop in temperature, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

A chance of scattered rain showers is expected in some areas.

Wind is northwesterly to westerly, moderate to active. Sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 16°C and a low of 7°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 15°C and a low of 6°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 13°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 11°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Low pressure is expected to hit the region later today and through Monday.

Monday’s temperature is set to significantly fall with mostly cloudy and cold to very cold conditions. A chance of scattered rain along with occasional hail is expected in the daytime.

A rise in temperature is expected for Tuesday as cold conditions remain with a chance of rain in most areas.

Weather on Wednesday is cloudy to partly cloudy. Temperature is expected to rise. Scattered rain is expected on some areas.

PMD warns of flooding in low areas and high winds when the low pressure affects the area on Sunday night and Monday.
