RAMALLAH, Monday, March 18, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather today is mainly clear and mild in daytime and cold in nighttime with a rise of temperature which approaches the seasonal average,  said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is northwesterly and light to moderate in daytime before turning to southwesterly to northwesterly in nighttime. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 16°C and a low of 9°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 15°C and a low of 8°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 25°C and a low of 15°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 12°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Tuesday’s temperature is set to further rise and approach 4-5°C above the seasonal average with mainly clear and pleasant conditions in daytime and relatively cold conditions in nighttime.

The same weather conditions are expected to prevail on Wednesday.

PMD expects Thursday’s temperature to drop and approach 2°C above the seasonal average with partially cloudy to clear and mild conditions in daytime, expect in mountainous districts where it is set to be relatively cold, and cold conditions in nighttime.
