JERUSALEM, Sunday, February 17, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces locked down on Sunday several roads outside the illegal settlement of Gilo, south of Jerusalem, as well as the road linking the city with nearby Bethlehem, allegedly after an illegal Israeli settler was stabbed by an unknown assailant in the area, witnesses told WAFA.
The forces also tightened restrictions on all the entrances to the occupied city following the incident, which caused traffic jams.
Earlier today, Israeli media claimed that an Israeli settler in the 40s of age was injured by an unknown assailant in illegal Gilo settlement. Israeli police said the assailant remained at large and the background behind the attack was still mysterious.
