SALFIT, Tuesday, October 16, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli forces raided on Tuesday the family home of Elias Yasin, 22, in the town of Bidya, west of Salfit, in the north of the occupied West Bank, searched it thoroughly, ransacked it and interrogated his family members, according Yasin’s father, Saleh.

Yasin was shot and killed on Monday after he allegedly attempted to stab an Israeli soldier near Salfit.

Saleh Yasin told WAFA that the soldiers raided his home in the early hours, searched it, interrogated the family members and told them that their son’s corpse, which the army has kept, will be released in the coming days.

Yasin is the second slain Palestinian from Bidya in less than a week after a 48-year-old mother of eight was killed on Saturday after a car she was in was attacked with rocks by Israeli settlers.
