ROME, June 6, 2025 (WAFA) – Israel’s ongoing genocidal operations in Gaza have taken on “unacceptable scale”, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni stated on Thursday.

"Israel's response has taken on unacceptable scale and must stop immediately, protecting the civilian population", Meloni was reported in the Agenzia Nazionale Stampa Associata (ANSA).

Meloni made her remarks as the main guest of the second edition of "Il giorno de La Verità", a conservative daily, at Palazzo Brancaccio, in Rome.
