Israeli settlers cut off 700 grape trees in Hebron

 

HEBRON, May 22, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers Tuesday cut off 700 grape trees planted in Halhoul, north of Hebron.

According to the owners, brothers Maher and Ismail karja, Israeli settlers cut off a total of 400 grape trees; 200 of each. The other 300 are owned by Younes Abu Arish and Walid Duhdel; 100 and 200, respectively.

The farmers said the trees were cut around dawn using an electric chainsaw.

Israeli settlers last week cut off 300 grape trees in Umm Sahali area near the town of Halhoul. The trees are owned by Jahshin family.
