Israeli army closes main West Bank road to secure march for Jewish settlers

QALQILYA, April 5, 2018 (WAFA) – The Israeli army closed on Thursday morning the main road linking the cities of Qalqilya and Nablus in the north of the West Bank to secure the area for a march for extremist Jewish settlers, according to WAFA correspondent.

He said the army announced that the road is going to be closed from the morning until early afternoon when settlers are planning to march between the illegal settlements of Karni Shomron and Kedumim.

The correspondent quoted witnesses saying the army set up checkpoints on side roads and at entrances to Palestinian towns and village along the area to prevent Palestinians from reaching the main road where the settlers are going to be holding their provocative activity.
