JERUSLAEM, August 12, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli police Saturday apprehended a Palestinian woman near Damascus Gate in East Jerusalem after she allegedly stabbed an Israeli guard, according to witnesses and Israeli police.
The woman, who was not immediately identified, approached the guard who works at a stop for the city’s train, and stabbed him in the shoulder before she was subdued by other security men at the site.
Police said no shots were fired and the woman was taken into custody for questioning, while the injury of the Israeli guard was reported light.
