RAMALLAH, March 12, 2017 (WAFA) - Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah paid tribute on Saturday to the Palestinian youth on the International Youth Day saying, “Our youth are the vibrant heart of the nation and our true treasure on whom we count for the advancement and progress of our nation.”

He added on this occasion: "In our belief in the important role of the youth, the government has adopted many programs that serve young people, such as the Young Entrepreneurs‘ Fund and the Economic Empowerment Project. We recently decided to establish the Government Development Bank, whose work concentrates on providing easy loans to the young entrepreneurs to help them establish their business and which will see the light early next year.”

Hamdallah said that the government plans included “the national policy agenda under the theme ‘Our youth are our future’ through which we will empower young Palestinians to actively participate in public life and state building, in addition to providing more opportunities for young people to achieve a better future.”

He said, addressing the Palestinian youth, “With your high spirits, mighty arms and bright minds Palestine will always achieve the best.”
