BETHLEHEM, August 5, 2017 (WAFA) – Hundreds of Palestinians in the Bethlehem district participated on Saturday in the funeral of two Palestinians shot dead by Israel in recent days after their corpses were released.
Muhammad Tnouh, 26, was buried in Tuqou, and Abdallah Taqatqa, 24, was buried in Marah Maala, two villages in the Bethlehem district.
Tnouh was shot dead two week ago near his village after he allegedly attempted to attack soldiers, while Taqatqa was shot dead last week near the settlement bloc of Gush Etzion also after allegedly attacking soldiers in the area.
Israel often keeps the bodies of Palestinian attackers for weeks or months as a way to torture their families, who are usually anxious to get the bodies of their sons to bury them in their hometown.
