RAMALLAH, June 6, 2017 (WAFA) – Palestinian government spokesman Yousef al-Mahmoud Tuesday slammed some online reports on the meeting held last week in Ramallah between Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah and Israeli Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon, describing them as false and fake.

Al-Mahmoud said in a statement that what these reports said was taken from Israeli media sources known for fabricating news and changing facts in order to be in the spotlight.

While the government spokesman did not specify what these reports have claimed, he nevertheless said what was reported regarding the meeting was not true and is considered false and slanderous.

He stressed that the meeting focused on Palestinian national interest and what went on in the meeting was published in an official statement.
