RAMALLAH, May 24, 2017 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) was awarded the C2E “Committed to Excellence” certificate by the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), PCBS president Ola Awad said on Wednesday.

The PCBS is the provider of Palestine‘s official statistics.

“The certificate comes in line with PCBS efforts to continue improving work performance at all levels to efficiently fulfill its obligations towards its stakeholders,” said Awad.

PCBS started preparations for the EFQM certificate since 2014 as an obligation in the National Strategy for Official Statistics.

EFQM report commended PCBS “excellent achievement, advanced team work and strong perseverance and genuine will and commitment to achieve its goals at both leadership and staff levels,” said Awad.
