Israeli forces detain eight Palestinians in West Bank raids

HEBRON, May 24, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Wednesday detained at least eight Palestinians and seized cash and electronic devices during multiple overnight raids across a number of West Bank districts, said security sources.

Israeli forces raided several neighborhoods of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, detaining four Palestinians and seizing money and mobile phones.

They also detained a Palestinian after storming his home in Beit Ula town, west of Hebron.

Forces also raided Wadi Abu Freiha near Beit Sahour, east of Bethlehem, where they detained a Palestinian.

In Jerusalem district, a Palestinian was detained during a raid into Qalandia refugee camp, north of Jerusalem.

In the northern West Bank, forces detained a Palestinian after ransacking his family home in Beita town, south of Nablus.
