BETHLEHEM, May 22, 2017 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas said on Monday evening that he wants to make sure that his meeting with US President Donald Trump in Bethlehem on Tuesday is successful, saying that :”it is our duty to follow up on our cause and work on resolving it.”

Speaking to WAFA and Palestine TV, Abbas said, “We have invited US President Donald Trump to visit Bethlehem, and we reiterated this invitation during our meeting with him in Washington,” adding, “these meetings, whether they were held in Washington, Riyadh or Bethlehem are all helpful and necessary to follow on our political issues with him and which we hope will be fruitful and the visit will be beneficial.”
