JERUSALEM, May 21, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli police overnight and early Sunday carried out raid campaigns across the Jerusalem area, raiding homes and detaining at least 13 Palestinians,  said the East Jerusalem committee of prisoners‘ families.

Three Palestinians, including an ex-detainee, were detained in Shu’fat neighborhood,  in addition to two others in Abu Dis town.

Five Palestinians, including an ex-detainee, were detained in al-Issawiyeh, in central Jerusalem. An ex-detainee was also detained in Jerusalem’s Old City.

Meanwhile, a youth was detained late Saturday night from inside the Old City of Jerusalem.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center said a 20-year-old youth was detained late Saturday night after Israeli police physically assaulted him in Silwan’s Ein al-Lozeh neighborhood, to the south of al-Aqsa mosque.
