Children, 13 and 14 years old, detained in West Bank raids

RAMALLAH, December 13, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained seven Palestinians during overnight raids in the West Bank, including one 13 years old and two 14 years old, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) said on Tuesday.

It said soldiers detained Samir Daraghme, 13, from Al-Lubban al-Sharqiyeh village north of Ramallah as he was on his way to school.

They also detained Issa Taqatqa, 14, and Abed Taqatqa, 14, from Beit Fajjar in the Bethlehem district.

Two other 18 and 19 years old teenagers were detained in Tulkarm and Nablus.

Soldiers also detained two more Palestinians from Jenin, said the PPS.
