BETHLEHEM, December 12, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces shot and injured three Palestinians during a raid on Deheisheh refugee camp near Bethlehem early Monday, according to Palestinian security sources.
Clashes erupted between the Israeli forces after breaking into the camp apparently to arrest people and local youths. The forces used live fire, teargas canisters and stun grenades to disperse the protesters.
Three Palestinians, two of them teenagers, were shot in the foot and were transferred to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Their conditions were described as stable.
The Israeli unit summoned three Palestinians from the camp to appear for interrogation before the Israeli intelligence.
