RAMALLAH, December 12, 2016 (WAFA) – Weather on Monday is partially cloudy with a slight rise in temperatures approaching two-three degrees Celsius above annual average, according to the Palestine Meteorological Department.

Winds are northwesterly to southeasterly and light to moderate. Sea waves are low to moderate.

A little chance of sporadic rain showers is expected in some areas.

However on Tuesday, a low pressure accompanied with a cold front is expected to affect the region. Therefore, heavy rains and thunderstorms are likely and temperatures are expected to significantly drop.

Another drop in temperatures is expected for Wednesday. Heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms and occasional hail fall are also expected.

A chance of sporadic rain showers is also expected for Thursday, with no significant change in temperatures.

the meteorological department.warned people against the possibility of flooding in low lying areas, high speed winds reaching as much as 70 kilometers per hour and the possibility of sliding at roads.
