Israeli navy opens fire at Gaza fishermen

GAZA, December 11, 2016 (WAFA) - Israeli naval boats Sunday attacked Palestinian fishermen‘s boats while sailing in Gaza waters with fire, sources said.

They said the fishermen were sailing within the designated fishing zone off the northern Gaza shore when the Israeli naval boats opened fire at them. No injuries were reported.

Israeli army and navy routinely open fire at Palestinian fishermen and farmlands along the Gaza border in a blatant violation of a ceasefire deal reached between Israel and the Palestinian factions in Gaza on August 26, 2014 following 51 days of Israeli military assault on the Strip.
