RAMALLAH, December 11, 2016 (WAFA) – Weather on Sunday is mainly cloudy and chilly at daytime with a chance of sporadic rain showers, and with a slight rise in temperatures, according to the Palestine Meteorological Department.

Winds are southwesterly to northwesterly and light to moderate. Sea waves are low.

Mainly sunny and relatively chilly weather is set to prevail during the day on Monday and become chilly and partly cloudy at night. Temperatures are set to rise and approach two degrees Celsius above the seasonal average with a chance of sporadic showers.

Tuesday is expected to be affected by a low pressure accompanied with a cold front. Therefore, heavy rains and thunderstorms are likely at daytime and at night.

Another drop in temperatures is expected for Wednesday. Heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms and occasional hail fall are all expected.

PMD warned people against the possibility of flooding in low lying areas, high speed reaching as much as 70 KM/hr, and the possibility of sliding at roads.
