RAMALLAH, November 24, 2016 (WAFA) – Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Executive Committee member Hanan Ashrawi Thursday discussed with Brazil’s representative to the Palestinian Authority, Francisco Mauro Brasil de Holanda, the latest Palestinian political developments, according to a statement issued by Ashrawi’s office.
It said Ashrawi met with de Holanda at the PLO headquarters in Ramallah where they reviewed Palestinian-Brazilian relations.
Ashrawi expressed her gratitude to Brazil for its consistent support of Palestinian self-determination, freedom and human rights, said the statement.
The discussion also focused on the latest Palestinian political developments, the deteriorating conditions on the ground, the expansion of Israel‘s illegal settlement enterprise, and Palestine‘s latest moves in the international community, as well as future cooperation between Palestine and Brazil.
