RAMALLAH, July 31, 2015 (WAFA) - The Palestinian Authority
Friday condemned the heinous murder of an 18-month-old Ali Saeed Dawabsheh from
Duma, South of Nablus and held the Israeli government fully responsible.
Nabil Abu Rudeineh, spokesman for President Mahmoud Abbas,
held the Israeli government fully responsible for his heinous crime and said it
would not have happened if the Israeli government had stopped settlement
construction and protecting settlers.
He called on the international community to intervene
immediately to end these crimes. Abu
Rudeineh said the leadership would prepare files of settlers’ crimes and
present them to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah visited Sa’ad
Dawabsheh and his family and joined the funeral procession of their son. He
described the murder as “heinous and unforgivable”.
He said the Palestinian government will rebuild any
religious site or house destroyed by the Israeli occupation and its settlers
and will also provide the family with immediate medical care.
Hamdallah further affirmed the need for immediate
international intervention to put an end to the occupation and salvage the
two-state solution.
This crime comes only a year after Israeli settlers in Jerusalem kidnapped and burnt to death 17-year-old Mohammad Abu Khudeir.
